Every home should have one. A place for sipping a beer, doing fun activities, watching the world go by, throwing parties... The UK would be a finer place with porches. Portland excels at them. Porches and corn dogs.

This is Eddie Powers. Arguably the most good-time Elvis impersonator in Vegas. He busts into wedding receptions, goes pretty wild, sings badly then sticks around just getting shitfaced. Pretty funny job to have. He claimed to have a 1,525 game winning streak at pool. Seemed to be playing by "Elvis rules" though. All the time. Well, Elvis does rule.

Ok. This blog isn't Facebook. There was more though. So much more... But it stays in Vegas (and probably on Facebook).

I have made a new website www.tom-hall.org so I can prove I am all professional and businesslike.
To celebrate, I cut these two unknown session musos some slack and asked them to write me a simple and direct theme tune based around work. I think they've really knocked it out of the park. Nice job guys.

KEEPERS

It was record store day yesterday. Good on them. But I found a stack of awesome records outside someone's house for free, and you cannot beat free. Amongst the PiL, Talking Heads and Big Star there was an X record in there which made me super happy. Of course none of them are worth a thing really. Apart from the look on this pervy dude's face from the cover of 'Hot Hits 17', which is priceless.
