I gave a telephone/printer/fax machine a ruddy good piece of my mind. Other objects included a table football game apparently once owned by Joe Strummer and a full porcelain bath tub and sink set. It was kind of weird. Felt fun, but in theory very easy to catch a stray sledgehammer to the face.
The red mist you can see is due to a printer cartridge unexpectedly exploding. It wasn't a physical embodiment of the unbridled anger in the room. Everyone was actually very pleasant.

Emile, Para, Teki, Sabrine and pals run a dance music label called Institubes.
It's a bit continental, bit Parisian, bit cooler than I really understand... But at the end of the day they still all get wasted and dance to B-52s and Ace Of Base records.
Which was reassuring. Swedish reggae unites all. Oui, oui.

A photographer friend of mine was shooting School Of Seven Bells down in Brighton and accidentally caught Nick Cave in family domestic bliss mode out on the bicycle.
If you haven't ever caught Nick Cave doing not very "Nick Cave" things in Brighton then I don't think you've ever been to Brighton.

Weird, weird atmosphere all weekend at All Tomorrow's Parties.

Sonic Youth=amazing. De La Soul=amazing. My Bloody Valentine=amazing... I could go on. It's just Butlins holiday camp in mid-winter has this totally deserted, super-sinister vibe to it. Kind of glad to be out.
